Job Title: Commercial Cleaner (Independent Worker)
Location: Custom Car Care, Decatur, IN
Schedule: 1 Day per Week (flexible hours)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of our office building. A successful candidate takes pride in their work, can work independently, and follows safety guidelines meticulously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restrooms: Clean, scrub, and sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, and countertops. Clean and polish mirrors and chrome fixtures. Restock essential bathroom supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Floors: Sweep, mop, and vacuum all tile, laminate, and carpeted floors throughout the building (offices, hallways, and common areas).
- Common Areas & Kitchenettes: Clean and disinfect breakroom countertops, tables, sinks, and exterior appliance surfaces.
- Dusting & Detailing: Dust furniture, desks, partition walls, window sills, and fixtures. Wipe down high-touch surfaces such as door handles and light switches.
- Safety & Maintenance: Follow all company safety protocols regarding the proper use of cleaning chemicals. Report any maintenance issues, leaks, or broken fixtures to management. Secure the building by locking doors upon shift completion.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office cleaner, custodian, or housekeeper is preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle physical workloads, including standing, bending, and lifting up to [e.g., 30 lbs].
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete a daily checklist efficiently.
- Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Must have reliable transportation.
